This Ebay seller is another snake. Using another ID he was selling the snow blower separately and when the bidding was just about ended user pppowdercoating pops up. The snake seller contacts me and states that pppowdercoating had backed out and offered me the blower at the pppowdercoating bid amount which was higher than mine. I said I would take it for what I bid and he never responded. Ebay did nothing with my complaints. Well guess who comes in at the last second again, on this current item? PPPowdercoating ! The snowblower in front of the tractor is the same as what was offered separately. Same crummy paint job. This seller is a snake and a cheat! ...X Notice his other auctions? Evidence eliminator product? That used to be his user name on Ebay. This is part of the message he sent to me: To member: woodydel@earthlink.net From member: evidence-eliminator -------------------- hello, powdercoating wanted to back out at the last second. If you still want the attachment for your last purchase price of 100.00, and you pick up, because he is a deadbeat bidder. I dont want to have a transaction with a man like that, thanks Ebay won't do squat about something like this. Their support staff is manned by well mannered morons. When I complained about the first incident with pppowdercoating backing out I was treated like I didn't understand the rules! sniper did bid it up. but there was at least two other guys that bid it up after he stopped. Guess don't bid more than you'd be happy spending. I'm neither snipper nor dmldml.

Dutch I believe when you request info on a person on ebay the info will be given, but your info will also be forwarded to the person you inquired about. Eddy

Eddy, You're right. So what? If the seller has nothing to hide, they should have nothing to worry about. When someone wants to trade on eBay they are expecting others to trust them. They give info knowing it will be given out to other eBay users who inquire. I don't care who knows that I ask about them if they're asking me to send them money on faith.

Here's another bidder that only bids on "dmldml's" stuff. You're right. Don't bid more than you'd be happy spending. However, most people are happier spending less at an auction. Besides, shilling is a crime, a FELONY in most jurisdictions.

Peter, Zip codes....... With the Internet, people who live on opposite sides of the world can conspire. These guys (or gals) should be prosecuted for laziness & stupidity, if for nothing else.

Dutch, Did you know evidence-eliminator was selling for his brother? I already knew about evidence-eliminator, I had the original run in with him with the snowblower. I expect to get P.O'd when I'm being suckered. Is something wrong with small town America? Is Waterloo,NY like everywhere else or are they unique? These are different people who supposedly list for each other. I got this from their emails to me. They're working us and play innocent when confronted....Just so you know Gasman58 says pppowdercoating is going to make a killing parting out the tractor..He also knows evidence-eliminator who was listing for his brother. So let's see they know each other and pppowdercoating willingly paid Gasman58 for the tractor again or evidence-eliminator wouldn't sell the tractor to pppowdercoating even though it was evidence-eliminator's brother who was really the owner and decided to pay Ebay again for the listing etc etc etc.. Who wants to follow that? ..............These people stink up there and my run in with the tractor parts guy in Seneca Falls right next door to Waterloo is making me think this is the norm for that area...maybe it's the water..or the space heaters in the living room...X

Woody & Dave, Seller "evidence_eliminator" is no longer a registered user on eBay. Check it out. What do you guys want, a beheading? Anyone should be able to tell if a seller is using shills within just a few minutes of basic research. Incredibly, the sellers using shills get glowing feedback and mushy praise from their chump buyers. "Marks" have been around ever since the term "caveat emptor" was coined.

I always get suspicious when an e-mail address I don't recognize from here is bidding on something I am bidding on. That's human nature. I have now also become very leery to post a proxy bid, as anyone can run you up to your max and the retract leaving the seller to contact you offering the product at your last bid. Bottom line set your price and don't stray from that, but it is frustrating that these "anonymous" bidders try to run up the price. I think that as we keep each other informed, of what is out there, we can also weed these types out. Keep up the vigilance.

Woody, I don't know anything about "evidence-eliminator," his brother, or even his mother. Never heard of him until your post. I know I don't like his nickname, sounds like some punk. You and I must have had similar experiences growing up in NYC. We know the “real deal.” Why do you let these whiners, incompetents, and two bit hustlers get to you? Don’t deal with them, or have fun and “play” with them.

Peter, The easiest way to get an eBay seller's zip code is to look at the location in the listing for the item. For a bidder, see if they were ever a seller (like sniper4570 whose location is Dix Illinois, 62830). Or, ask eBay for their info. Or, send them an email and ask. (While you're at it, check out the bidder history for the above sniper4570 sale. Opps... Guess who's bidding? It's dmldml. How about that.....) Nobody has any secrets with anything they put on a computer or send via email. It's just a matter of how much time and effort someone wants to spend to find that info.

Putter, I think I mentioned it before, I've always had good experiences with purchases from eBay, and made some new friends too. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I try and do some basic research on sellers, and ask questions about the item. There are valid reasons for using different email addresses. There are also many legitimate bidders who are not members of this club. "Shill" bidders are a different story, and they'll never be eliminated. Just keep following your own sound advice. Set your price and stick to it.

Dutch: That makes sense. I know one can do that w/ Mapquest, Yahoo Directions, etc... In fact, did you know you can actually pull up the home addresses of anyone w/ a listed phone #, if you have their phone number (AND from that, you can get the phone #'s of their neighbors on the same street--imagine the creative, fraudulent uses THAT could be put to....) with reversedirectory.com.? However, I can't find the zip codes of the buyers/sellers on ebay. Can you direct me? I'm sure I'll feel stupid when you do, but I'm not proud.... Peter

Beware the Double Agent: While of course, as Dutch suggests, it could be fun to "play with" these posers, however, it seems to me to be not too unlikely that shysters dealing in Simplicity equip. would be aware of this site, and might even "lurk" or (*gasp*) somehow be ONE OF US!!!! (Insert ominious soundtrack here). I mention this only to caution against planning any "retribtuion" or "games" on these pages, lest the scoundrels be spying. Woody, as a dyed-in-the-wool upstate NYer, despite my residence for 12 yrs. within spitting distance of NYC, I truly regret that I see you are forming a poor opinion of upstate NYer, not that you don't have valid concerns. While there's bad apples everywhere, I happened to have found my share of them right there in NYC and, I'll admit it, it has colored my judgment in the past. But I try to see past it, where I believe it's merited, and I hope you will be able to do the same, for yourself, as upstate NY has some fine people and country. Of course, as in many rural areas, there are pockets of inbreeding, which isn't always advantageous. I guess sometimes one's cousins are too good to pass up? Just my .02

Here's the problem. I fall into trouble so often because of what Ralph Kramden called a BIG MOUTH. I've never been able to completely control that side of me. When certain triggers are pulled I go off. I'm a born and raised Catholic but I still got into trouble with the priests and nuns with my mouth. Never could figure out why I wasn't Jewish. Mostly what I care about is for people to treat each other fairly. If you mess with me then I assume you'll be messing with others. Your dealings with me are MY indicator as to who you are and what you believe in. If you or a group does not MATCH my idea of what is right you had better STFB because I'm on you till you straighten out. That's for the better and letting things slide is wrong. When we had the proverbial bad A** in the Marine Corps nobody let him slide. You WILL conform is the right approach since I've seen it work more times than not. This approach was used right here on me when I got out of line. I never held any ill feelings since about that correction in my character so I don't expect others to get away with anything either...MadManX

Dan, I too consider myself a Christian, but I have to agree with Sam & Woody (or whatever he now calls himself). The apostle Paul wrote, "If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men" (Rom. 12:18). Many Christian congregations will sing “Onward, Christian soldiers”. True, only governments can declare war. But, didn’t our government (at least several different presidents) declare a “war on poverty”, “war on drugs”, “war on terrorism”,” war on pornography”, “war on illiteracy”? How come the Enron thieves aren’t classified as enemies of the state, jailed, and be forced to make reparations? How come we are expected to tell our kids to “just say no” to preying drug dealers? How come educators aren’t held accountable for graduating students who can’t read? How come Catholic cardinals aren’t arrested and dragged off their pulpits for protecting child molesters? (BTW – I’m Catholic) The “rose colored glasses” have blurred the publics’ perception of what WAR means. The righteous, Christian or not, should get out of the pews and demand action from our leaders based on their words and promises.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
