See below. "B" belts are a little wider than "A" belts. http://ourworld.cs.com/Bcbaumer/tiller_1.jpg

The proper belt is a 105340. It is 96.1" long, and it's an HB not an HA. The belt goes from the outer sheave of the center PTO, through the pulley assembly that goes on the left side of the rear lift shaft, and to the tiller. Do you have the assembly that goes on the lift shaft?

Brent, I see your tiller has the multi-hole plate (at the lower hitch), which I assume is some kind of depth control. Do you or anyone else know how it is supposed to work or how to set it up? I have the exact same rototiller but all of my manuals do not show anything about it. Thanks. Mike S.

Also make sure you put the intermediate belt guide setup on correctly. Have a look at http://www.wheatfarm.com/actractor/images/IMAGE11.jpg On my tractor, the previous owner had the wrong hole lined up so the belt was about an inch out of alignment.[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

Mike - not for sure how to use that piece. I used to own another tiller like this one, except it did not have it. Not having one does not seem to affect the operation. Jlasater - I don't know if you're implying I have something not hooked up right. I can't see any difference between yours and mine. Brent

Brent, it looks like if you put a cable or chain from the hole plate up to something on the lift it would prevent the tiller from dropping all the way down. ???? I always till as deep as it will go. Or was this plate for something else??? Mike S.
