KT19 II Exhaust Valve

Recommended Posts

Other than the amount of hours on this engine, any ideas on why an exhaust valve would break like this?

No additional damage that I can find, looks to be an extremely clean break.

Valve guide seems fine, valve keepers were still in place and the valve was freely moving.

I have a new exhaust valve and valve guide on order, once here, I'll have the guide installed, reamed, and the valve and valve seat ground to spec.
