Woodydel 0 Posted March 25, 2002 I've posted before that I had paint mixed from info here. Had it done at Sherwin Williams. I had one quart made and by the time I paid for the reducer etc plus tax that quart came to about $80. I think I still feel like a sucker even if the paint is the right color. Anyway, for the Homelites I found Krylon polyurethane in True Blue quarts. It looks slightly too dark compared to my original tractor color though the Homelite colors I see here in the Homelite section seem to be the same color as the Krylon paint. I also picked up a of small can of white to lighten the paint if necessary. I'm thinking I could also use light grey to "tint" the True Blue. Anyway, total cost less than $10. to experiment with a spray gun instead of ugh cans...MadManX
LBS 1 Posted March 25, 2002 I'm using Allis Chalmers orange that I got from the local Tractor Supply store to paint my 7790 deisel. It matches almost perfectly. I think the brand is BPS (Best Paint Sold). It's available in gallons or cans, I got the cans. Looks nice and shiny to.
