7117/ CASE

I think I got a great deal on them my case 195.it Was rebuilt and runs great drives awsome. Just need to adjust the pto.  But deck   needs help .no problem. had time finely  to look at the 7117 as the PO. Said Was true on the case same on the simplicity. Had New oil/ plugs/ air filter/ fuel). All I needed was the right bendix..battery still good (51R)  cleaned up the points. and she's off. The starter was not  insulated his grandson just put a washer??  Now  all I need is to do is put the tin back on .  I loosened all 4 motor mount bolts to get the starter on / off ( about 10 Times( bendix) Now do I need to pull the motor to get them back on (the tin)

With the Sovereigns I have always had to pull the engine to properly reinstall the tins.  You can get by on a Sunstar, but not a Sovereign.

Should be another piece of tin by the fuel pump, points & coil that has the numbers on it.

There should be another piecce of tin.  Not wide, but longer that runs side to side on top of the engine.  The front cowl screws to it and the small piece that Shaun mentions by the fuel pump.  It kind of hold the tins all together.  I don't see it in your picture.

Part #20 on the pic on the left and #11 on the right is usually where the engine model, serial number sticker is located.

All tin is on.  Sticker of model #is. gone. Does run but. Gas vale. Not setting right under tank. Had to stop ... pulled a muscle in my neck 😖😕😟 ..beer time I only use it for medicinal purposes🍺😌
