I have this 30" tiller that mounts on my 610 but I can't find this mfg# anywhere.  It does not help that the last two numbers are scratched off but I do believe it is 295112_

I can't find any model numbers even starting with 295???

Hi. That Is the serial number, not a product number. Looks like it was an "Allis" made tiller for a Homesteader 8. It may not have a Simplicity equivalent.

I'm thinking all the "outdoor products" labeled stuff just has the serial number, no manufacturer number. I ran into that with a recent snowblower purchase. I have two Broadmoor tillers that are identical, one outdoor products, other Simplicity. If you would like I could snap a picture of both tags.

If you have time that would be great!  I looked on partstree.com and found what appears to be identical tillers but the mfg# starts with 16.....

Some of these AC-built attachments have slightly different hitches than their Simplicity counterparts because they were built during the anti-trust lawsuit and were not to be compatible with a Simplicity tractor.

Interesting, I did not know about a lawsuit

Any chance someone can give me a measurement of the rod connecting the tiller to the lift arm?

The lawsuit Chris refers to is an antitrust lawsuit the government slapped against Allis Chalmers claiming that owning Simplicity gave them a monopoly on the market forcing them to keep Allis and Simplicity separate. It was called off a few years later and things went back to normal.

Here is a picture of my two tags.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
