Sovereign with fresh paint

Hello, I got this Sovereign in 2011  with blown triad.  I repowered it with a Briggs 16 hp  vanguard twin, that i documented before . The tractor had sat outside unused , for 5 yrs before I got it  .

I tried rubbing compound  , lite sanding  & power buffing  , But the paint still looked fade  so I recently  repainted the  Hood fenders and running boards . I taped off the decals since they looked good

I am happy with how it turned out.

Thanks Ken in Mi

Looks great, you got lucky that the decals were that intact considering it was outside. Maybe you can cut some vinyl decals or something to put on the seat pan so the springs don't rub the paint off

Hello, So you noticed my shop towel, protecting the paint?  The simplicity decal on the back was new,  and I applied it  and The (P) didn't stick!!   so it  went on crooked LOL

Thanks for the comments
