Thanks for the photos Dave!  The VGTCOA shows are always great for a good variety.  Wish I could have seen this one.  Some real neat stuff there and a few folks I enjoy talking to.

Did you meet the Reo collector by chance Dave?  There were two fantastic, early Reo metal signs at Oakley and I had hoped to see him there and point him toward them.  They were roumd and probably 4-5' in diameter.

Very nice. Sure beats their turnout at Boonville MO several years ago.

This was a great location for them, geographically.  Just a few hours drive from a few of their more active members and several of their regional governors.  I don't even see a website for them anymore, however?  Their facebook page never really developed.  I fear they will fade away without some young blood.  Other than the aforementioned folks, I don't personally know any other members.

Most of the young ones are more involved with dealing with the virtual world, not real things you can actually sit on and feel.  They spend hours just looking at screens and twiddling their thumbs.  The market for our collected treasures will disappear if we all disappear too without replacements.  Some predictions say kids won't even need a driver's license or learn to drive in a future with AI cars.

For several years there was a VGTCA member in Springfield MO area who displayed the banner and several units at the Republic show and then at Boonville MO. Haven't seen the banner or his collection for 3 years or so.
