Anyone ever take the shaft apart ?

Need to remove lift arms and don't see anything that holds them as pins or keys.

Don't want destroy the shaft trying to push them off

OK while grass was wet decided to try and remove.

found it rather easy as there is a wire c-clip on the end of shaft and a little heat and hammer it came right apart.

wish I knew how to highlight things like some do, anyway on right side I tried knocking it off and couldn't so thought beat it to the left and that's when  I discovered c-clip

Once I removed keys everything just slides off shaft rather simple design but more than serves the purpose.

I doubt anyone ever has a problem with these but now we all know what makes them tick. same thing on left end.

Old piece for a new project I have planned.

Order of assembly.
