AC 314H questions & kohler rebuild questions

I just bought a 314H & wanted to know the capicity of the electric lift? Also the 14hp kohler needs to be rebuilt,I wanted to know if theres a online site that sells rebuild parts for kohler,B&S,onan and other air cooled engines? Also dooes any one know if 314H hydr. transmission is able to stand up to pulling a plow? Thanks for any replys

For Kohler parts, try Jack's Small Engines who are a sponsor of this site. I have found them great to deal with. You need to first by an engine service manual and parts book to get part numbers, then you can order online real easy. Prices are fair and they offer non-Kohler substitutes too if you want them. The lift copacity is listed in the dealers manual as 750 lbs. I have a 200 lb lead counter weight I put on my 314H, and it doesn't bother it. To pull a plow, traction is the biggest problem for me. Anyway, why put the Vickers hydro. in too much strain anyway? automan
