More Awkward?

Lately there's been some pics of rear mounted snow blowers which I think would be awkward, but this would be even worse I would think :

Anyone ever tried to use such a setup?

I'm thinking turn the blade 180 deg and grading is what it's really for.  But it beats shoveling and gives seat time I guess.

Best used around the farm, and not close to vehicles or buildings.  The swing of those rear mounted blades is very fast when turning.  The operator must be very careful.

Maybe just collecting it on the blade?

Hey fellows that’s my tractor I only put it on to balance out my front plow I’ll post a pic with both on haha and nope never spun a tire with those turf tires and no chains. I have chains but it plowed so well I never needed them with all that weight hanging off the back but there is no going off flat ground with both plows on when I got to the dip at the end of my driveway I found myself sitting with no wheels on the ground, but I did plow a little backwards it works well being able to plow forward then backward saves time but take it easy on the slander huh I’m a member/junkie to

And yes I walked outside at ten o’clock in 20 degrees to take a pic of front and back plows. I could only get back plow on till I got help for front  plow my backs trashed from installing floors since I was 12  so if it’s heavy I gotta b careful or it’s a week of mad customers

That is all we had on the farm for dealing with snow

Also used it to level out dirt

Had to use what we had

Most farmers around here clear snow that way, a few have plows on a truck. I've done it, I'll stick to a large frame with a spring trip! ;)

Josiah:  You just summed up the very good, and not so very good about accessories for our tractors.  They are very heavy duty, BUT require young good muscle or old guys like me and young folks like you that have bad backs that require floor jacks to help put these things on.  I even use a floor jack to put my mule drive on the tractor for my lawn mower deck, and jack up the front of the tractor high enough to slide the deck underneath.

Yep plowing backwards is not ideal but having both plows on balances a 620 out I was pretty amazed what the tractor was capable of without chains and no fluid plus it steered just as easy as it did without any plows on at all. My father in law is a dairy farmer and still farms with allis cavaliers and he just gave me some allis suitcase weights I’m gonna make a rack for them on three point. Any body else ever mount those big weights on there powermax

I have two of these weights on the back of my 620 lying flat on a bar I made for the 3 point.  Not very pretty, but works.  Have had it on for at least 2 winters with no 3 point problems.  Figure they can't weigh more than my rototiller.
