So I went ahead and pulled apart the steering spindles what a mess there were no thrust washers being used when I took it apart.Ended up leveling  surface where bearings go as good as I could then bedded the bottom washer in JB weld. With the snow blower on the front of the tractor it sure does help considering the way I found it.

Yup.

If you're lucky you'll find a bit of a thrust washer left and a ground ring that's not too deep.  Worst one I had, the ring a good 1/8" deep, maybe a little more.  If your tractor is in that shape, the Poor Man's Powering Steering mod helps a bunch.

Had a chance to use the tractor after putting the bearings on it made  a big  difference with the snow blower on.As long as your moving it take very little effort to turn the wheel.
