AC 916 with a sickle bar mower

well I am going to try it  not sure how if i remember right  not sure what i am missing but going to try hopefully the hardest part will be trying to get it out of the shed is there a manual on this will try to get more resent pictures    and will it fit my 7117 ???   any help would be great thanks   jim

Do you have the cable guide pulley that attaches to the tractor frame?  You will also need to fab up some sort of rear attaching point for the support chain and drill a hole to mount the pulley guide. Josh and CarlH have used these sickles on the 900/7100 tractors so yes it can be done.

Going to move things around tomorrow and to sure of what a cable guide pulley is and were it goes but with help I will try

First...I'm diggin the artificial turf!  That's a great idea.  My folks put that down under/around the playset they put up for their grandkids in the backyard.  

 

I will look for more pictures of my 900 series machines with sickle.  I have a writeup somewhere.  Here's the pulley setup.  The type for RBT's won't work on a 900...the orientation of the pulley is all wrong for the available space to mount on a 900.  You need a homebrew or an FDT pulley mount.

It is about 4 inches off the ground. Not sure is that bracket on mower Were the chain is .needs to be there should I take it off and move it ?

Got a pic of how close the skid plate is to the ground?  That bracket is an add on so it might not be needed but lets see the skid clearance first.
