dhoadley
Some variation of an early Broadmoor 707, 717. It's generically known here as a "small frame" tractor. There common, very cheap, and cut really well.
BLT
Real early Broadmoor with rope start, maybe 1965/66?
Talntedmrgreen
That is a '64 Broadmoor (first year). The 64 had a black dash and white steering wheel. The 65 and later had a white dash and black steering wheel. The 64 did not have a numeric name, just like the 64 Landlord did not. 2
Chris727
That was the standard model too as it has the smaller tires and rims.

It seems to me those early, plain jane models are scarcer than the deluxe models with the wider tires and electric start. My Squire 6 came with 'new' AG tires on it, and I had a terrible time trying to find original skinny 5.70 x 8 tires.

spi
What's that hole in the side of the hood?
TomSchmit
Hole in the hood is for the rope starter pull. Edited February 19, 2018 by TomSchmit
TimJr
I agree, the standard models seem to be less common. There is Simplicity literature that refers to the first year of the Broadmoor as 1963. Since Simplicity serial numbers were never really kept track of, there has always been some discrepency with model year vs. calendar year. If it had the original engine, the engine date code would help to narrow it down.
