AC 314H New Owner

New to the forum.  I own bigger AC, but this is my first garden tractor.  I was trying to download the owners manual from the site, but it won't let me. I'm looking forward to learning how to use this old machine.  I have to get it running.  I also got an EZ Vac system with the purchase.

Welcome to SimpletrACtors.com Steve. You added nice looking 314H to your collection. Caution - it's habit forming.

Looks like a nice machine. That gas tank looks huge. This is a great forum. Lots of friendly people here.

Thank you.  I look forward to acquiring more--knowledge AND tractors!

Welcome to the club!  That is a nice looking tractor, hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours.  They are habit forming, hope you have room for more!

This tractor sat for 20 years before I got it.  The intake valve was stuck, but I got it freed.  I got the tractor running, but it has a few issues.  Couple questions.

1. Where is a good source of parts for the K321S engine?

2. What does the S stand for in K321S?

3. I bought the manuals from Jensales for the mower, but I want a Kohler engine manual for this engine.  Where can I purchase that?

That's a good start.  Thank you.

Happy to have you on the site. I saw your posting on the Unofficial AC forum too, I go by ACmowerguy over there. No need to pay for manuals. Kohler lets you download them for free or you can buy hard copies from your local Kohler dealer or distributor.

https://power.kohler.com/na-en/engines/manuals

As for parts, it depends on what you need. Any Kohler dealer should be able to order you OEM parts or most can be found on eBay either NOS or aftermarket.

Looks like the parts manual isn't listed on Kohler's site. I can email it to you, just send me a PM with your email address if you like.

Thank you.  I used your direct link and the message read that I was not permitted to download.  Do I need to pay dues or something?

Hey ACMowerguy.  Thank you for your help.  I'm trying to locate the I and T equivalent for my mower's engine--K321S.  Is that available somewhere?  I'm pretty good with a wrench, but would really like to have that manual.

I don't think I &T has done a "small engine" manual. The OEM Kohler operator's and service manuals are available at the below link:

I don't think anyone answered but the "S" stands for electric start.

The Kohler service manual for the K321 is TP-2379  (as is for all the Kohler K singles).

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
