Silence from Lloyd!  Surely I haven’t offended him!  How are you going, Lloyd?

He is busy breaking in the new pulling tractor.

No , actually the grass has kicked in and growing, 80+ degree weather sure helps.

Now comes the hard part to did assemble to paint plus try to get some projects done that have been put on back burner to finish tractor.

And yes guys I weigh about 25 lbs more than I care to be right now, if I loose then room for one more weight 666 and a couple more beersdOd

Just got back from Archbold Ohio , was down for a two day pull but sled broke last night and they canceled for today.

I did however get to make one pass and extremely pleased with the way she ran, just wish we could have run today, an awesome track

Sorry no pictures wife did get video of the run on her phone, but I don't have a clue as to how to put it on here

Lloyd, any chance my mate and I could borrow that machine for a few weeks in August to pick up all the treasures I’ve lined up, between western Kansas to New York State.  But then again, I suspect the fuel economy might be way above my budget!

Why not galvanize it instead...wouldn't that be more durable?

Not my thing Mark, I really wanted a color similar to Dupont magenta but was told there magenta was not the same

I have towed trailers my whole life and have NEVER EVER had a powder coated frame that didn't rust, chip, flake ect... It seems that galvanizing was much stronger coating to me IMO. Never had chips or cracked or rusted with galvanizing.

Obviously your frame won't be subject to road abuse and use.

It's hard to explain but it's a visual aspect of it and  like it's always been said if it don't go chrome it, in other words if it won't run then you do something to make it look pretty.

No it will be just for competition and It has to look good, this is the first time I've had one powder coated (usually just paint them myself but this is probably my last one) said that with blown small block to but who knows .

I've competed most of my life so really hard to just walk away and be a spectator. Started drag racing in late 70's and found tractor pulling and here I is .

Not sure if I've asked but wouldn't it be nice to have a pulling forum like a couple other sites I frequent  ?

The DuPont magenta I used on my blown small block cost nearly $900 for just paints and reducers
