snowblower found on junk day

I came across a simplicity snowblower-mfr#990562 out at the curb on junk day. I loaded it up. It has all parts as far as I can tell-belts and hardware-and it works. Does anyone possibly know a year and/or the tractor it fits? It's 32". I want to know because I will need a tractor to run it this winter, thankyou for having this incredible site!!!!!!!!

Good for you Steve! It was made in the early 1970s and fits the Yoeman and Broadmoor series. DLC might even have one of these fine tractors for sale - not for free but at a reasonable price. :)

I am still learning the simplicity history, quite interesting. Local classifieds have a "model 700" series with trailer and snowblower and cab, with weights and chains for $550, and a 5212 twin cyl. w/48" mower, 36"snowblower, weights and chains for $1000, what do you think? I really need to retire the mid '70s craftsman to hauling wood-too many mower pieces missing!!!also have a 10 horse '77 craftsman and an agway from who knows when that are for sale! see ya !
