David Bradley Attachments

I have a friend who has located 3 rear garden tractor attachments that say "David Bradley" on them; a one bottom plow, a one row disc, and a harrow. He seems to think Simplicity made David Bradley garden tractors at one time and that these should fit my Landlord. I haven't seen history of a David Bradley connection on the site. Does anyone have any information on this. It has come to be my understanding, after perusing this site many, many hours, that pull behind attachments were mostly made by other companies (like Brinly for the types listed above.) How different were the mounts they made for various brands. My question is, would it generally be fairly simple to modify mounts to fit my sleeve hitch? Thanks for any info. If I can pick up these attachments and make them fit, I can try them out on Colorado rocks! - Jeff Snyder

"David Bradley" was marketed by Sears (good machines). The sleeve hitch attachments should work fine on a Simplicity with a "one point hitch" and "rear lift". [A href='http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DBMail/']http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DBMail/[/a]

If they are walkbehind impliments they will not fit unless you modify them, you should be able too if you have a welder. It is not really worth keeping those impliments original, there are a ton of them out there. The harrow is a little harder to find. Andrew

Dutch, Thanks for the link to the David Bradley website. Now that I see the pictures, I remember seeing DB's at the Freeland, Ohio show last summer. I didn't realize they were a walk behind. I'll have to take a look at the attachments to see if they can be modified to fit the Landlord.

David Bradley did make a few 4 wheel tractors. Don't recall where i seen the pics of them but a couple years ago I was given a very rusted 10 in plow that said David Bradley on it but had arms that reminded me of a 3pt setup. One long winter nite I searched the tractor net til I found a pic of 2 different ones, one had a 3pt set-up on it..MPH

David Bradleys were not made by Simplicity. Check out David Bradleys on the link below http://members.lsol.net/gop4evr/David_Bradley.htm[A href='http://members.lsol.net/gop4evr/David_Bradley.htm']http://members.lsol.net/gop4evr/David_Bradley.htm[/a]

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
