JP
Onan 'sorta' does. It's an aftermarket item in their 'green pack' items. I've only seen one. I think it was a little over $100 JP

MDD
Is there anyone out there that makes a kit to convert an Onan CCKB from points to electronic ignition (solid state)? I wonder what that would cost...
JonetteP
Hi Mark, this magna arc system looks good to me. We checked it out when the ignition went bad on one of our large ttractors. It is very similar to the system on Ford 300 sixes from before they switched to coil packs. They use the hall (hallow) effect of a magnetic coil or permanent magnet to fire the ignition, no points to wear, only the plunger shaft. Let us know how you turn out.
