Shallow root ripper

Had a few hours to fill, most parts were prebent was luck saved lots of time. Hooked this up on my Simple 2010, All materials had laying around. Welded the ripper on. Now to try it when possible . Hope it stays together with out bending, may have been better to use flat stock for the ripper, if it does not work well will try an old mower blade, material should be hard enough for abuse.

Gee, I like that spud plow, Lloyd.  I’d like to come and see it working!  And get details to copy it.  Did you fabricate the share?

My cousin got a little plow with his 7016h. We always wondered what it was but I suppose it was a homemade potato plow. Really didn't work too good on a RBT though because you couldn't put any down pressure on it.

@Johnrenk Nice fab job on that ripper. It looks good and sturdy! dOd

You know your welcome anytime your in the states. This is for my 720 Allis which has down pressure, I also use it for making rows to plant taters

Elliott , does he have enough weight on to pull it, without down pressure I'm not sure it would go deep enough to root them out I still cut a couple now and then when not deep enough. It works good but I still have to crawl around and dig some out.

No it barley dug in on his RBT and an FDT at that time so he brought it up to my place and we put in on my 3112H and it worked pretty good since you could get good down pressure with the solid rear lift rod.
