3415s carb options?

Recommended Posts

Well I'm trying to get the boy's tractor running so I can till . It starts but won' stay running. I ordered points and Condensor cause it seems to have week spark.

As for the carb it' got a lot of shaft play and the throttle cable is slipping hardcore under the dash. I'e been looking for a new carb but no luck so far. Haven' actually checked my dealer just on ebay.

Has a B&S engine

If it is the stock lever, there is a nut to tighten up the friction washer, pull tank or dash plate to get to it.

Ebay carbs from ~30.00 to list price at a B+S dealer of $200 plus.

Ebay carbs sometimes do not have the little bushing sleeve for the throttle linkage.

Some chinese carbs have worked fine, others never are right.

Ther are a few "reputable" e-bay sellers that will help make it right.

Search the site (including Archives) on chinese carbs or e-bay carbs

Thanks for the help. I tried searching yesterday for a carb for it with no luck. I changed my search criteria to just B&S carb and came right up. I ordered one straight away after confirming it' the one I needed. Also ordered a carb for my K301.
