Spring Plow Day 2018 Hudsonville, MI

I ended up going out to plow day in Michigan this year on invitation from Richard Jay and his girlfriend Kristin.  I got there Friday and we spent most of the evening and well into the morning working on tractors getting everything ready.

I brought out my B1 as well as Kents HB216.  The resurrection of the HB will be in a different post.

I started off with the B-1 and after making a few passes had the plow dialed in and everything was going too good...  I ended up blowing my head gasket in 3rd gear trying to keep up with Kristins B-10.

Next up was the HB, Kent built it as his work tractor and it's definitely well used.  I wasn't intending more than a pass or 2 for photos but it pulled the plow like it wasn't even there.  Effortlessly!  It was keeping up with, if not nipping at the heals, of all the fancy Deere's with custom plows.  No matter how deep they went it kept up.  Fantastic machine!

I could only hope that he'd enjoy watching it turn some dirt and make some Deere boys try harder.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

And I'm sure Kent's looking down and smiling watching his tractor do it's thing.
