Al
Hi, Give us a call at 1-800-462-2218 We stock the regulator to fit them. The regulator needs to have a 10 amp current limit, most generator regulators the current section is 20 amps or up. Good luck, Al Eden

HubbardRA
Try removing the cover, usually two screws. Look carefully at the coils. I had a B/S 10Hp and one of the wires going to a coil broke. I fixed it with a crimp connector. If you have the wiring diagram, you can refit nearly any voltage regulator from a generator, to this engine. If you had one from another engine with a generator, I could probably help you figure how to hook it up. I think I have the wiring diagram somewhere at home. I will try to find it. Rod H.
