Brakes

Hello. This is my first post. I have an AC 917H. The brake linings are worn, especially the parking brake. Just watched it roll down a hill into my back yard while I was picking up be fore mowing. 

What is everyone using for brake linings as they are no longer available?

There is only the one break lining and that break band also serves as the park brake. I have heard of guys using leather and adhesive, or keep your eyes open on E-bay maybe.

BLT. has a contact in Butler area that does re lining of brakes but not sure about tractor brakes.

I assume you understand that you can adjust them. About the only thing I use the brake for on a hydro is parking so it's hard to imagine it actually wearing out. For stop go and reverse, I just use the control lever.
