marksr 12 Posted June 19, 2018 Did Allis 912 have optional hydraulic lift. If so do I have to change the rocker shaft
PhanDad 3,251 Posted June 19, 2018 According to this list: https://simpletractors.com/research/cross-reference/ac-to-simpliicity/ac_s_pg2/ the answer is no. So you'd probably have to change the rock shaft (in addition to changing the charge pump pressures). Hopefully the frame has the sleeved hole for the hydro lever) But maybe you'd be lucky and the manual shaft has the connection points needed. Always worth a look. PhanDad 3,251 Posted June 19, 2018 PS - An electric lift was an option and would be a much easier install.
ardisam 23 Posted June 24, 2018 I have added a few hydro lifts in some of the tractors that I have. Yes, changing the rocker shaft the first option. What I have done is grind the shaft on the cylinder to make it fit the rocker shaft for the electric lift. Make sure the shaft is all the way in the cylinder, if it isn't you could grind too far and it could leak during operation.
