Who can tell me the size for deck drive belt? The one that was on there broke and no markings. If i measured right should be 79in, but it seems like its an inch short or maybe im putting it on wrong. Thanks

42" FDT Allis decks that have the spring tension-ed idler pulley call for a 82" HA belt (part #108209) .

A pic of the deck:

If your deck has the "fixed" idler, the belt length may be different.

PS - And by "fixed", I mean manually adjusted in a slot to tension the belt.

Make sure the idler pulley pivots freely. Over time if not lubed, it will lose its ability  to be active when the mower is engaged and cause the belt to break.

And it is supposed to pivot on the bushing, not the bolt.
