Carb Leaking..

I have a 3410 with a 10hp briggs 243431 it runs ok but it idles rough and when it runs the top of the carb is wet with fuel... it doesn't seem to run over when sitting anyone have any idea's?????

Possible a too high float setting and float gasket bad.

Yesterday, I started my Chinese connection Model 700. The gas poured out everywhere. I grabbed some tools and broke it down right next to the tractor on a tarp. All it was a stuck float. Slapped it back together and that engine runs smoothe and starts on the first pull (no battery and don't need it). Sometimes disasters turn out to be simple fixes..Just in case remember to take out the emulsion tube before splitting the upper and lower half..Woody
