Herringbone versus Superlug.

Recommended Posts

equipment guy

I have 2 pairs of Deestone ag. tread 23x8.5-12’s. I have had them for about 6 or seven years. I have them loaded with 5 gallons of washer fluid in each tire, and I think they were a good value. I run them as duals on my cub cadet sometimes.

Your link isn't working but I have Deestone 26x12x12 on my Sunstar and they are great. But if your lawn is soft, you can tear it up in a hurry.

I have run a set of Deestones exactly like these, loaded,  and have nothing but good things to say.

Sounds good. I own 4 Sovereign type tractors. My 69 tractors have ~ 9.5" rim. My 73 tractor has ~ 8.5" rim and my 75 has ~ a 7.5" rim. Do you know your rim width, and do these tires lay flat against the earth, or are they a pretty well rounded? I can put these tires on any of my rims and transfer them around if I need to, but if they lay pretty flat on a 7.5" rim, I may go this route from the git go. I love how the turf tires lay flat on my wider rims, and I recently transferred them to my 1975 mowing rig.
