6216 Carburetor

I was recently given a Simplicity 6216 lawn tractor.I have no idea what year it is but it seems to be complete with the exception that the carburetor is missing.The motor is not locked up.Any suggestions as to what type of carb this was and where I might be able to get one.Thanks for your time and effort.Scot (scotmo2@excite.com)

Scot, Walmart has a Briggs & Stratton repair manual on a cd that has all of the info plus diagnosis,disassembly and reassembly diagrams for $20 (in NC). If you can not find this or do not want to invest in this just send me your engine model # and maybe Ican help. Roy roy_wooten@surfbest.net
