Sorry dutch- misread your comment earlier - the artifact of a bad day in the office (are there ever any good days?) to respond more appropriately: i think brad's taken enough criticism here lately, no sense piling it on!

HEy Dave, I'm happy, you are happy, Brad seems happy, what more could we want?? This stuff comes and goes through my door all the time. Don't care whether I win or lose, I just have fun playing the game. I'm lining up some stuff to sell on Ebay next week. Going to have more fun watching that stuff sell. Got a old 32" tiller drive pulley setup, a low speed pulley group for a AC 710 3 speed, and a Bonafide Simplicity /AC tine extension kit for the late model 32" tillers and 36" tillers to put on the auction block. All that will be up and listed by noon Sunday with luck. Enjoy the day! SmilinSam I ,for one,had a good day today!

sam- didn't mean to imply the WHOLE day was bad, just a few hours in the afternoon, about when I read Herb's message. Kind of skimmed it rather than read it, that's got me in trouble before and I'm sure will do so again. Day got instantly better when I walked out the door into a summer day - does it get any better than this in April?

glad you feel that way Sam- I actually expected your proxy bid to be much higher than it was. I was mildly (and pleasantly) suprised when the final winning amount came up.

Dave, why not make Brad feel really bad and tell him how much was left on the table with his low $250 reserve.

dutch- i don't need any added pressure on the explaining side of the "new toy". sickles are odd enough shaped and difficult enough to hide. i'll refer you back to this discussion. besides, like sam said: Alls fair in love , war, .....and Ebay bidding[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/ShowMessage.asp?MsgID=6999&mode=short&startwith=0']http://www.simpletractors.com/clubhouse/ShowMessage.asp?MsgID=6999&mode=short&startwith=0[/a]

Sometimes bidding at the last second is the only way to buy stuff on ebay.IF you bid early in the game your chances of getting outbid is alot more than waiting to the end.IT has happened to me a few times, and if i really want it i sniped the auction as you guys call it on here so be it .IT has happed to me before and it is all love and war when i want something ,i wait until i can afford what i am wanting and get it .AGCO918 CHAD E SHAFER

One mans junk is another's treasure. Being tractorholics, we ultimately will pay whatever the need is at that particular moment. And I have the evidence in my shed! LOL Terry
