HELP! Simplicity 7119 Nightmare

Hello all,

so over the past couple months, I’ve been working on repowering a Simplicity 7119 with a magnum 20. It’s been headache after headache! Now I’m fighting electrical problems. It won’t charge; I’ve tried replacing the voltage regulator but to no avail. That regulator came off a kt19, are the points style regulators different from the non-points ones? Also, it won’t shut down. I replaced the key switch with a grounded one but something is still amiss. Is there any extra wiring/rearrangement that’s needed? Any help would be much appreciated!
