I am looking at a B-10 that has an engine problem...are the engine rebuild kits fairly easily accessible?

All depends on your skill level. These tractors are pretty straight forward and the engines are workhorses. Not sure what your looking to do mechanical wise to the engine?  Replacement engines are somewhat available as there are alot of tractors still out there.

Unless the tractor is fairly inexpensive or the body of the tractor is in good condition,  there are a fair amount of these tractors available,  at least around my neck of the woods.

Be sure to watch the Zippo Varga video on what to look for with regards to the beveled gear boxes as these can become an issue that requires some disassembly to get at it if in fact there is some internal wear.

Best of luck

You can find several great videos that were done by member Zippo Varga on You tube that will give you great tips and advice on what to look for when buying a used tractor.  The information may save you from a big headache and an empty wallet at the end of the day.

Best of luck on you decision.
