Deck boot for leaf vacuum system

Recommended Posts

I recently picked up a Agri-Fab leaf vac system for a great price. It needed some work but I got it up and running. Yesterday I went to test it out but noticed that the supplied deck boot is made for decks which have the chute on the right side unlike Simplicity's. I have a 48" deck (picture attached). Does anybody know where I can find/how to make a boot that will work? I was able to rig it upside down yesterday just to test it out but I'd prefer to have a better long term solution. Thanks!

I might be fabing my own this fall. I have a sheet metal I'm going to attempt it with. If you have a one for the other side, maybe you could use that to help fabricate your own?

Check with Sandy Lake Implement.

The Simplicity manufacturer  number for the 42" deck boot assembly ( LH discharge)  is 1690027, for the 48" deck the number is 1690026.

You might just get lucky and find one.

Thanks guys! It would be great to find one of the those @midnightpumpkin. I am eyeing a trac-vac one on ebay right now. If I don't get that I might try to make something with ductwork or fab something. Would be a nice project to learn welding with my new HF welder.

@mcdI’ve not dug the vac out of storage just yet. Will be another week or two. Sorry!

No problem! Thanks for the update. Leaves haven't started falling yet.
