Regent Headlights

I got the newer to me regent out to mower today, while my boys mowed with the 7117.  Anyone have a trick to keep the headlights in the hood?  I bounce over things an next thing you know the headlights are laying on the heat shield of the muffler.

Here is a picture of the tractor for reference.
