b 210 shuttle parts tractor

i got a mostly complete B-210 shuttle in pieces only  engine and the tires and wheels are missing it was torn apart because the bevel gear box was trashed

a bearing froze up in the front variable speed  pulley and nearly wore the bgb cross shaft in two so i weld it p and turn it on the lathe or find a different one.

the mower deck i can use as is but i will have to modift it to fit under a 917h i am repowering to a briggs  12 np  I/C.  the original 48 inch deack is totally rust and all bearings are bad. i think i can modift the 42 to fit under the 917 frame by changing the center spindle assembly and installing a lift bolt

i will use the seat on the Big Ten  that will make  the big ten original.

so the best part about this is it was free i do have enough parts to put it back together and make a runner out of it. or i might go crazy and install the shuttle drive in the big ten if possible

well i have all the parts to fix the bgb   i have decided to build this as a project. since i did not tear this unit down and i never worked on a shuttle drive  and it is a basket case in a pile of parts.  it will be a challenge but i can do it with a good manual and youtubes i will get it together

The B-210 seat would not have fit correctly on the Big Ten anyway. Agree with Dave regarding the shuttle. Shuttles were not offered until the 400 Series. Either way sounds like another interesting project.

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
