Subframe For Loader

Recommended Posts

Guest
I have an AC916 and would like to ad a front end loader. I can figure everything out except for the subframe. I guess what's making it so difficult is, I want to make it with the mowing deck still attached. Can anyone help me get started?

you would need to weld directly to the side of frame and mount your cross member almost like a tube style running board on a truck but you would need to use pretty strong stock and a good welder. Depending on how the pump is going to work, you need to use the front pto if poss. this will allow you to keep the deck on and functioning. I have built 3 this way, all work very hard and without any trouble.

Thanks for the advice. I'll start right away on my measurements and hopefully get everything in tack. One more thing, would 2-inch square tubing be strong enough for the subframe? Once again, Thanks. Worm
