Hi guys, I am wiring my Big 10 and can’t figure out the wiring for the key switch.  I know the one wire runs from the points to the switch.  Do I also ground the switch?

Thanks

If you go to DOWNLOADS you will find the manual for the Bigs...not sure if the wiring diagrams are in there but you should take a look

The original switch for a Big-10/ B-10 had only one connector, and grounded on the dash through the switch body.

Replacement ones tend to have 2 terminals and the switch body is isolated from either terminal. You can use a meter, or if you don't have one, some kind of light to see where you have continuity. I would expect you need to run one wire to the points and one from the other switch terminal to ground somewhere. On the engine is most sure, on the tractor frame should be OK.

This is based on the couple of B series and early Landlord I've had.
