GregB Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Does anyone have access to the BASCO system? At least to see if the have an XL Repair manual either PDF or in print? I tried to get info through Simplicity web site, chat was no help, even after I gave him the TP- number, his system could not access that document.
GregB Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Stopped at the local Simplicity dealer and asked one of the guys at the parts counter what they used as a repair guide for the Legacy XL's. He said there is some info they can access through there dealer portal system. But he did not have much good to say about it. Combination parts listings, Service bulletins, updates etc. Told me he has been trying to fix an ongoing hydraulic problem on his fathers XL, and was finding little info that was helpful. IS this another Briggs thing, no fix it after the sale?

My guess it that it's a publication cost based on the fact the XL as we know it has had several different updates as far as 2WD, 4WD, different wiring based on something like 4 different engine options etc. On a side note, what did they have to say about the "Coasting" of the tractor going down hill?
