After about a dozen mows the deck stopped working and I finally figured out the metal around the pulleys had rotted through. I am looking for help with a replacement deck as they no longer make the deck I have 1693630. I am looking for any deck 48 inch and up that will fit my mower a 1693764. Any and all info would be helpful. I am located in CT
Chris727 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 So it looks like you have a 23 hp Legacy with a 54" deck? A dealership would be most likely to have a deck. I'm not familiar with any dealers in CT. You might have to get one shipped to you. Replacing the shell itself and re-using your components may also be a possibility. 1

The nearest dealership to you is Alan's Small Engine Repair in Haddam; just on the other side of the bridge from the Goodspeed Operahouse. Family outfit run by Alan and his wife; good people. I'd place an ad here and keep some saved searches on Ebay and CL and see if something pops up. All you might need is the shell, and swing the working bits over.
