thmsdoyle Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I found my dads old vacuum, its a simplicity 1690024. Its been sitting outside not covered for at least 10 years. I brought it home cleaned it up a bit, mounted it to the tractor, put a new belt on it, fired up tractor, engaged pto, wa la it works. they just don't make things like they use to. Now that I know its operational I'll rebuild it, if I can find or fabricate the few items I need. I'm actually looking for the adaptor that goes on the deck, if I can't fine one I'll fabricate one. Also looking for the 7.25" plastic tube for it also.
ShaunE Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 The deck boots were different depending on the 42" or 48" decks. Also, there was a posting a long time ago that had a website that sold different tubing sizes that would suit your needs.
