Guest Posted April 28, 2002 I have a '68 or so Broadmoor 727 that I love cutting our lawn with--perfect size to maneuver around our 1/2 acre yard. Problem is, the mower deck is extremely loud--you can tell the bearings are bad. Is there any way to replace the bearings, or to just replace the bearing housings (the tower-like assemblies that hold the blades to the underside of the deck)? With the cost of new tractors, I'd really like to be able to fix this one. Thanks for any info.

Bunky 3 Posted April 29, 2002 You should be able to just change the bearings as long as the spindles are not worn out....
