Alltractoredup Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I am looking at purchasing a tiller, model #1691978 It comes up as for the Landlord DLX, 1718H, 2718H and others from that vertical engine models This tiller looks like all the tillers for the 900 /7100 and 700/7000 series. Anybody know if it will work with one of the hitchs for the 900 series?
Chris727 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 The idler's which mount on the tractor are different. Not sure what else but I believe all of the hitch points are the same.
Alltractoredup Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 I'm thinking about making the hour drive. its NOS and priced to move. Anybody else have feedback? As long as the tiller is a direct fit to our 900 series I would be buying it
GregB Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) I bought a tiller that came off a newer tractor, but cannot remember which. Its mounted right now on my 917. When I get home tonight I'll check which model it is and reply again. Edited April 26, 2019 by GregB 1
Talntedmrgreen Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 The nos tiller will hitch up, but not run without sourcing the proper pulley setup. Definitely worth grabbing though, just dont expect to run it when you get home unless you have the drive components for sovereign use at home. 1
GregB Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 I ended up using the idler set-up that came with my revitalizer. Everything in the tiller itself worked with that idler. Ray S was making them , I thought. 1
GregB Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Mine is not the same model, but here are pics. Hooked right up but needed the tractor idlers from the large frame set-up on my 917. 1
