My A/C917H is a dedicated mower. Greased the spindles and the brake pedal. Is there anything underneath that I would need to remove the deck to get at? Thanx, Dave

Steering gear is about it from the underside.

Is there a zerk fitting for that or just wipe some around?

If you have a flex hose  on your grease gun you only need to lower the deck and do not have to remove it.  You may have to feel where the fitting is.

Did the spindles, the front rims don't seem to have any zerks. I do have a flex hose on the grease gun. I'll try to find that steering gear zerk this weekend. Thanx, Dave

There should be a grease fitting on each side of the front axle on each spindle, one on the right rear hub and one on the right axle tube.  The front wheels have roller bearings that are greased at assembly.  They do good if the mower is not in the rain or sprayed with water.  The wheel seals will let in water if that is the case.   Don't forget to check the hydrostatic oil and bevel gear box oil.
