jfmolter Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Hi, I have A question. Does anyone know if a lift kit off of a Simplicity 7112 tractor will fit on a 716 AC ? A guy on ebay has one with a sleeve hitch and i need you guys opinions on this before I place a bid. Thanks in advance for any help the group can give me on this.
PhanDad Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 I believe so. The cable rear lift kits came out with the 7000 series tractors. The sleeve hitch was another kit that required the cable rear lift kit.

Thought that $188 total was a little high when I only really wanted the lift kit. So I think I am going to try to build one. Trouble is that i've seen lots of pictures on here and in parts books but really need a detailed drawing with all of the dimensions to build one. could anyone point me in the right direction to find such a drawing? Even if I could get some good measurements I could make the drawing myself.

rokon2813 Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 I don't have any for those. The earlier ones are more plentiful and will work, but don't have the lower hole as seen in the above picture part #4. Used with the Brinly style one point hitch. I do not have the cable, but pretty sure that is still available new, though spendy. You could also make your own cable, I might have a pulley. I have the old style part #4, or if you can get in touch with Ray Stoddard he was making them I think. I do know he was out of commission for a while with some sort of medical issue. You would also have to source the special bushing #6 above.
