Cheapest grader blade

I have spoken of this in the past.  If you want to level top dressing or finish grading, I think this works as well as anything I have ever used.  It is, quite simply, a 1x6   that fits between the roller brackets and the deck.  I use a bungee to hold it in place, otherwise it just floats between the deck and roller brackets.  Not sure if it would work on a 42" deck.  I have made them up to 60".  I am not recommending this for cutting a grade at all, but it works excellent to finish grade top soil. I have done big areas, and you simply just keep driving around until you fill in the low spots and scrape off the high areas.  It's simple, quick to make, dirt cheap and it works as well as anything I have used.
