cowfan Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I have a 4212 hydro. I have been having an issue at startup. The hydro needs to be in neutral position to start, and it clunks at startup, but I have to wiggle the gear shift back and forth and after a few times, it will turn over. It is getting progressively worse, so much so that it takes more and more tries before it starts. Thoughts?
simplewrench Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 You should be able to see the switch with the seat deck up to make sure it is in the right position with the tractor in neutral. If it is then I would say the switch is getting bad. My thoughts anyway.
