macallis180 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Got lots of good info I used from my post on Facebook originally. Using an inline spark checker in line. New cleaned with back sanded points and 2nd condenser(mount sanded) all grounds disconnected. Ran about 4-5 firing cycles and quit. No spark. Okay, hit starter again - 4/5 firings -same thing . No spark. Put 2nd condenser on. No spark. Do I have to pull engine to check coil? (I know I have to pull to change if thats the problem) Was running perfect even in the rain. Ideas?
kwt Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 If I'm pulling the engine, I'm not pulling to check. I'm pulling to change, which includes minor clean up of the flywheel, and setting edge gap.
macallis180 Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 Is there a way to check coil without pulling engine?
