arnoldir 0 Posted April 30, 2002 I'm shure Kent will chime in, but I'm going to beat him to it. Front and rear tires were bought on Ebay, I know because I bought the same tires. Seller is Tucker Tires, and they have many sets on ebay, search on "gravely" or "cub cadet" Fronts are 5x8 Armstrong 2 ply. They are mounted "backwards" as specified by the arrow on the sidewall. Be shure to order tubes with them as they are tough to get beaded up without. Rears are 23x8.5x12 Chen Shing 4 ply tubeless. These mounted and beaded up pretty easy, and have very deep lugs for excellent traction. I will likely be buying a few more sets for my other non mowing tractors, They will tear up the grass if you make a tight turn. Happy tractoring.
Kent 436 Posted May 1, 2002 Sorry it took a while to reply. I'm in San Diego on business and didn't have a chance to get on the Net yesterday. Since the tire question has been answered. The yellow paint is $3.49 spray bombs, brand is American Accents (made by Rustoleum) and the color is Brilliant Yellow. The white is Duplicolor Wimbleton White.... Neither are "correct" but they were close enough for me to use on this "working" tractor. If for show, I would have done it differently. I use this one to plow & till garden and run a snowblower on it in the winter. I use my B-210 with turf tires to mow... I agree with the comment that these lugs will tear up the lawn if you turn too quick or ever spin for any reason, but the traction is great.... The tool box came off an old International, I think (it was red) that I bought on eBay. Here's a link to the story of "building" it -- I won't call it a restoration, and a "before" picture. I got your email and will try to reply later...
