meags 0 Posted April 30, 2002 I have a B212 Allis-Chalmers with a 300421 Briggs and Stratton engine in it. I nodiced when I was reading over the papers that I printed off of this site that they said that it holds 4 pints and I can only fit about 1 1/2 quaarts in to mine. Does it realy hold that much? carter 0 Posted April 30, 2002 Mine is real close to 2 quarts. Maybe you have a pint of dirt in the bottom. Ron
MikeES 469 Posted April 30, 2002 My HB212 with the same engine hold 2 quarts. Make sure the tractor is level. Even air pressure in both back tires. Good Luck! Mike S.
BradW 0 Posted April 30, 2002 Hi, if you EVER take the driveshaft and stuff off, it is worth pulling the block from the crank case as it has alot of crud it in which will make fresh oil pretty funky just after a bit of use, -BradW
