sammiefish Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Has anyone found a quality less expensive alternative to 2173016SM pto switch? This is a 4 blade switch used on the 3/400s and the 620 720 and 9020. I find other 5 blade pto switches but I’m not sure how those are configured. In fact is this simply a DPDT switch I’ve been through this before but I simply don’t recall
PhanDad Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 From what I remember when I installed an electric PTO on my "16GTH-L" Briggs single re-power, I believe I used a standard, 6 terminal DPDT switch such as this one: https://www.zoro.com/carling-technologies-toggle-switch-dpdt-10a-250v-quikconnct-2gm51-73/i/G2085072/ In the "off" position, one side allows the "start" circuit to have continuity (safety) and in the "on" position, power flows to the front electric PTO. Two terminals aren't wired ("on" for the start circuit and "off" for the PTO power circuit). 1
